The museum hosts two main fundraisers each year that includes both the annual golf tournament and the annual Hot Stove Banquet both held in Wilson, NC.

Annual Golf Tournament

The golf tournament is held in mid-May at Wedgewood in Wilson, NC and has been held annually for 17 years.  The tournament is open to the public and each team is matched with a local sports celebrity that has made their mark in North Carolina sports history.  We have former major league players, college stars, and coaches that come back each year.  We will provide more information about hole sponsorships as well as individual and team entries once more information becomes available in March/April.

Wilson, NC Hot Stove Banquet

This annual event is always highly attended and we recently celebrated our 44th annual Hot Stove Banquet on January 22, 2019.  It is held at the Parks and Recreation Center in Wilson, NC and it is a great opportunity for the public to socialize with Major League players past and present, local stars, and coaches.

Our previous speakers have included former Major League players Stan Musial, Bucky Dent, and Chris Hatcher.

We have also been fortunate to have some of the great  college baseball coaches from around the state to join us including Cliff Godwin (ECU), Elliott Avent (NC State) and Mike Fox (UNC-Chapel Hill).

Make sure you get your tickets in mid-December/early January! More information about tickets and program sponsorships can be found by calling us at (252)296-3048 or emailing us at .
